1. Tell us about your favorite writing project/universe that you've worked with and why.

Fortuna Academy of course~ It's the first project I have that I have been so serious about! I'm really enjoying working with it!

2. How many characters do you have? Do you prefer males or females?

I lost count! XD I don't have any preferences~ I like both~ It's all about the character~

3. How do you come up with names, for characters (and for places if you're writing about fictional places)?

Sometimes I give names that have some meaning to them, sometimes related to their powers, or some traits of their personalities. (Ryuuga, Ven, Crow, Sakki, Sora and Rose, for one). Most of the time, it's just the name that I think is more fitting for the character~ (Miku, Yumi, Laura, Hana.)

4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!

I was working on a Megaman Battle Network sprite comic once. I decided to bump it because I didn't know where to go with it anymore. I had 3 Ocs there, but I don't remember much about them. I was around 12-14 when I began working on it. A bit after that, I began playing Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy XII, and I had a lot of interest into writing a Fanfic that would include both. I created 5 Ocs at first, Lance, Taka, Hiruma, Goku (Yeah XD) and Master Xien. But after trying to set a world and a plot... It ended up not going anywhere. Goku would later become a KH OC named Homura which was Master Xien's apprentice along with 3 other keybladers, Tatsuji, Yuki and Arashi who starred a short-lived fanfic named "Another Side", which you can find in my gallery.  Lance would later become the Ryuuga you guys know today, Taka became Jin, Hiruma remained the same, only gone to Fortuna Academy. Master Xien is still there as a KH OC, Yuki, Arashi, Homura, Tatsuji, and the girl who was Arashi's love interest, Manami, plus Sakura, Arashi's little sister, were all sent to the Fortuna Academy-verse, with a few design changes, and some relation changes as well (namely, that Manami is now Tatsuji's love interest, not Arashi's).

5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about "youngest"?

Youngest…. Is a tie between Lyuri and Maria, both 8 years old.
Oldest...That would be Jinpachi, Ryuuga's gramps.

6. Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol' pen and paper?

Anywhere, as long as it's comfortable and I can relax.
Computer. It's easier to read over, and more convenient too. But I can pull it off with a good ol' pen and paper anytime~

7. Do you listen to music while you write? What kind? Are there any songs you like to relate/apply to your characters?

I ALWAYS listen to music when I write~ Mostly game songs (Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts, Pokémon, Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Naruto Ninja Storm 2 and 3, Etrian Odyssey, Rosenkreuzstilette) or anime songs (Sword Art Online, Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka, Sora no Otoshimono, Fairy Tail, K-ON.)

8. What's your favourite genre to write? To read?

To write, Fantasy, most certainly~
To read, anything goes~ I read many different genres everyday~ Mainly for inspiration and to broaden my writing horizons~ I always find a bit from each genre that I can use on my own stories.

9. How do you get ideas for your characters? Describe the process of creating them.

I need a setting first. A world. Then I need the plot. Once the plot is done, the characters to fill the world come along. I like to make my characters quite diverse. To give them unique personalities and traits that make them stand out from each other. I also like to think of their lives previous to the story's events.

11. Who is your favourite character to write? Least favourite?

EVERYONE!! I don't have only one favourite~ I like writing every single one of my characters~

Least favourite?
…. I don't have one!!!! :iconawkwardplz: All my characters are loved!! (...Well, I love how good Karin is as a villain, but not Karin herself, because by real life standards, Karin would be loathed XD You guys will see why as the story progresses~)

12. In what story did you feel you did the best job of world building?

Fortuna Academy, of course~ It's the first original world I've ever wrote, and I don't think I could ever top that~

13. What's your favourite culture to write, fictional or not?

I don't have a particular favorite~ I like writing about everything~

14. How do you map out locations, if needed? Do you have any to show us?

I either picture them on my head, or make a map out of game backgrounds, like this one:
Fortuna Island - Academy Grounds by Sharingan-Shinobi

15. Mid way question! Tell us about a writer you admire, whether professional or not!

Hmmmmm...There's J.K Rowling, whose stories were really captivating, and whose works were the first step that got me interesting in the universe of writing~ Long live Harry Potter!

I sort of admire Stephenie Meyer as well, because you gotta admire how a writer constantly shoots herself in the foot and fumbles a lot on writing and still manages to make the end result a best seller, no matter how much it sucks XD

There's also Eichiro Oda, One Piece's creator~ You just gotta love how much detail he puts into everything, and how often said details can connect with each other as the plot advances. He also greatly treasures his readers, which is of course something I deeply admire (and practice) in a writer. One Piece is easily one of my biggest inspirations~

16. Do you write romantic relationships? How do you do with those, and how "far" are you willing to go in your writing?

Plenty! As you guys can see, there's a couple, or a soon-to-be couple at every corner~ It is centered around school life, after all. And in an academy with dorms like Fortuna Academy, that makes romance even more likely~ As for how far...Well, you've seen Ryuuga getting a bit..."busy" with Sora before they decided it was to soon to take that step~ XD

17. Favourite protagonist and why!

I have 6:
Ryuuga, the likeable anti-hero who seems really quiet and distant at first, but isn't afraid of showing he cares, doesn't really care about being risky if it means the safety of the people he cares about, and at the same time he's absurdly perseverant and a fight-crazy person nearly reaching Zaraki Kenpachi levels, he knows the time to retreat and is also calculating in combat.
Yumi: The tomboyish playful and reliable girl who is really protective of her friends, particularly the girls, and her boyfriend Jin. She also has kind of a maternal instinct to her, and is shown to be quite independent. Easily the go-to girl if help is needed. Also, one you REALLY don't want to anger, as Lloyd's balls demonstrated.
Sora: The girl who lost her mother, and had to put up with a controlling father for most of her life, but that had a nice mother-figure in her stewardess, and later met the boy whom she fell in love with , only to be separated from him. Despite said boy promising he'd get stronger to kick her father's ass and bring her back to Kyoko Town, she decides to go and reunite with him herself. And so, with a particular friend's help, she does. The most interesting thing is that, despite how much she loves and cares about Ryuuga, her life doesn't revolve solely around him, and she isn't dependant of him, and has her own personal hobbies and interests. UNLIKE certain :iconbellaswanplz: female leads out there!
Hana: The brash and bold cool big sis that you don't fuck around with, and that even Ryuuga is scared of! XD And that scary exterior hides a girl who is kind and caring to an extent that you wouldn't believe I'm talking about the same person.
Edward : Who was created by my bro :iconcrimson-kaizer:, whose backstory and character make him quite an interesting character. He also interacts very well with the other characters, and his character traits really contribute to the plot~
Foalyn: By :iconprincesshanyou:, also created for Fortuna Academy. The sort-of-a-dick character who's not really a dick~ Just a troll~ And it's kinda funny to see how someone as stoic and composed as him reacts to the Comittee's antics! XD

18. Favourite antagonist and why!

Gabriel~ The reason, I'm keeping that a secret because, Spoilers! :iconf3plz:

19. Favourite minor that decided to shove himself into the spotlight and why!

Shiori! She was created first as a love interest to Edward, and someone that would make him feel more comfortable with the academy, as well as the girl that would introduce the main trio to the academy's workings, and that would be there to help them with matters within the academy. The "always-there-for-you", optimistic nice girl~ Then she turned out better than I expected, with her interactions with Edward being a great source of sweet moments, and working out quite well with the main trio, plus her optimistical personality and showing that, despite being a peaceful girl, she's not afraid to fight~ She fits the story like a glove~

20. What are your favourite character interactions to write?

Romantic: Shiori and Edward. Something about having the shy boy who's afraid of the darkness inside him talk to a bubbly girl who always brightens his day is really fun~
Ryuuga and Sora: From how they met, and how Sora caused Ryuuga to "thaw out" since they met, to how much they love each other, what they're willing to do to be with each other and also how, even thought they love and are in love with each other the way they are, they don't make their lives only about each other, but have personal interests and hobbies of their own (as later in the story will show).
Non-romantic: Edward and Ryuuga. It's kinda interesting how much they're alike in many aspects.
Both have a power they're afraid of, and also feared for, but both always had people around them who treated them with love and kindness, which gave them strength to move forward. They're also both highly caring of their companions.
Also, the Ryuuga-Yumi-Jin trio. Because it's kinda inspiring and heartwarming to see how united those 3 are and always will be, how they're always there to back each other up and how, no matter the situation, they always face it with a positive approach.

21. Do any of your characters have children? How well do you write them?

Ryuuga and Hana are Kenpachi and Rose's children. Given both Ryuuga and Hana are protagonists and that both get quite a good feedback from readers, i'd say they're done well~
Same for the rest of the cast~ They're all someone's children, aren't they? XD

...well...except poor Laura T^T and Hiruma too.

22. How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?

Varies… It depends on the time I have. Although I made it a goal to organize my time so I can dedicate a good deal of it to writing it~

...not that I have ever finished a story I started T^T I intend to make things different with Fortuna Academy, tho'~

23. How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it? What's the most interesting way you've killed someone?

I'm SO keeping that a secret. :iconf3plz:

I haven't really written a story where I killed a character. Most didn't reach that point.

24. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.

He's not mine, but Hanamaru, who is a Fortuna Academy character (Also a Katekyo Hitman Reborn OC, if memory serves correctly) made by my Bro :iconcrimson-kaizer:, has a Falcon named Tsuki. I like writing Tsuki as a snarky pet who often makes snidy remarks at his Master's antics. Of course, only Hanamaru can hear him because of their telepathic bond. Everyone else just hears the sounds usually made by a Falcon. You can see the snidy remarks on one of the Fortuna Academy Skits in my journal~

25. Let's talk art! Do you draw your characters? Do others draw them? Pick one of your OCs and post your favourite picture of him!
I often do~ They get a lot of drawings from other people too~ I don't have ONE favorite, I have many~ And they are right here:

26. Along similar lines, do appearances play a big role in your stories? Tell us about them, or if not, how you go about designing your characters.

Yes. I do a lot of stories on species of people. I go for the "Kemonomimi" style for characters of a species other than Humans or Elves , as you can see with Miku (Cat ears, tail, and fangs), Lyn,  (Bunny ears and tail) and Van(Dog ears and tail) among many others. Well, for the plot, it doesn't really play that much of a role, but it plays a big role on developing characters and adding more variety to the cast.

27. Have you ever written a character with physical or mental disabilities? Describe them, and if there's nothing major to speak of, tell us a few smaller ones.

One of my (future) characters is missing an arm from an incident involving Beattia. Said incident got Beattia expelled for nearly killing said character.
For mental disabilities...There's our psycho, Sakki, who literally gets off on killing and fighting, as chapter 6.5 parts 2 and 3 will gladly show you.

28. Final question! Tag someone! And tell us what you like about that person as a writer and/or about one of his/her characters!
Oh its so obvious who I'm gonna talk about ~ XD
:iconprincesshanyou: (She's the one who tagged me, tho' XD)

She's an amazing writer~! I consider her to be a much better writer than I am~ I've read her stories, and they really captivate you from start to finish~ I found myself completely hooked up to "Opposites Attract" whilst visiting her~ She can really make you feel for her characters~ She really brings emotion into writing~  She is a great inspiration for me~ Also a great writing partner~ My advice? Go check her stuff right now~!
